Bridge is a partnership game

Truer words were never spoken. However, this does not mean that a true rating system cannot be created.

This website has one and only one purpose. To show that a real rating system for Bridge players can be created.

It’s a crying shame that the ACBL pits stronger players against weaker players. The ACBL has a lot of people smarter than me. They can create a fair rating system to bracket, stratify, and flight ACBL events. Using the “partnership game” excuse to do nothing should not be acceptable. If we let them get away with this, we are part of the problem.

If and when the ACBL creates a fair rating system and uses it to bracket, stratify, and flight ACBL events, this website will go away. Nobody needs to know their rating. Personal summaries can be created that members can access through their “My Masterpoints” account. The only other thing of value on this website is the unit Masterpoint list. Why the ACBL does not do this is a mystery to me.
